ujiffy provides free, browser-based developer tools at ujiffy.dev. All tools run entirely client-side — your data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers. We do not require account registration or login.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Input data you paste or type into any tool
• IP addresses (beyond what your browser sends to any server)
• Cookies set by ujiffy itself
• Account credentials of any kind

3. Anonymous Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-respecting, open-source analytics platform, to understand aggregate site usage (e.g. page views, referrer, browser type). Umami does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sessions, and does not share data with third parties. The data collected is fully anonymized and cannot be used to identify you.

4. Local Storage

ujiffy uses the browser's localStorage solely to remember your theme preference (dark or light mode). No personal information, tool inputs, or identifiers are stored in localStorage. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

5. Advertising — Google AdSense

ujiffy displays ads served by Google AdSense to help keep the service free. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show personalized ads based on your browsing history. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ad Settings or by enabling a browser-level "Do Not Track" signal.

6. Cookies

ujiffy itself sets no first-party cookies. Third-party cookies may be set by Google AdSense for advertising purposes as described above. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings at any time.

7. Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Anonymous analytics aggregates are retained for up to 24 months for trend analysis and are automatically purged thereafter.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external sites (e.g. GitHub, MDN). ujiffy is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of ujiffy after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
